What age do you stop growing taller and stay the same height?
Im a male who is 18.My height is 6ft1.5in and i weight242lb.I eard there is a certain age were your bones dont grow tall ny more.I heard females stop growing faster then males and males keep growing for a longer time. What are the age limits in growing taller in both genders?

i think 18
well… in male they stop growing at 18 while female stop growing at 21…
well women its around 18 cause they mature faster and men its around 21 dont worry mate u wont get any taller maybe just heavier lol.
it depends on genetics and hormones. When the epipyseal plates in your long bones closes then you stop growing. Everybody is different so there is no certain age. female stop growing faster than males because they start puberty earlier.
Generally by 18 you’ve quite growing in height, but it’s hard to tell for sure. Often it has more to do with genetics, so ask your dad when he stopped growing taller to get a better idea.
It completely depends on genetics and hormones.
Females tend to develop earlier and so finish growing and devloping earlier..around 18 (although I grew 1/4 inch when I was around 19…that 1/4 inch is very important to me!)
Males tend to start puberity later and hence finish later…around 21 is the considered stopping point.
There are exceptions…people with growth problems may continue to grow afterwards too (eg worlds tallest man was still growing when he died at 22 (or 21 can’t remember which)….but I have a feeling thats a piturarty problem.
it usually based on your weight and physical activies as well a diet. But on average its around 18-19.
